One of our biggest events every year is the Glasgow Schools Athletics Championships. This year we had over 60 competitors take part over the two day event, this really shows how strong athletics is in the school as to be entered into the championships your performances have to be of a high standard. To make finals at the championships you have to record a top 8 performance in your event which is no easy feat to achieve. This year we had more finalists than we have ever had! At the end of the two days we came away with a fantastic 11 medals, the most gold medals we've had at a championships, more finalists than every and 10 x 4th placed finishes. This year we also had more senior pupils competing that ever before which was pleasing to see, next year I will predict this number will go up again.
