Fantastic Performance at the Glasgow Schools' Athletics Heats

Sgoil Ghaidhlig Ghlaschu had their most successful year at this year's Glasgow Athletics Championship Heats. The event this year was at Linwood with conditions showery but calm.

For many of the 17 athletes in the squad this was their first time on a track and for the majority one of their first experiences of competitive athletics. Everyone performed to their best on the day and should be very pleased with how they did.

The school managed 17 qualifications for the finals on Wednesday!!! This is a fantastic achievement as the previous school best of 3 qualifiers.
