Netball game vs St Lukes
The S1 girls played a netball friendly game vs St Lukes High School from Barrhead. The girls lined up with Jessica GK, Erin GD, Eilidh WD, Shannon C, Adanna WA, Caitlin GA, Abigail GS and Nairne as sub. The girls started nervously and found it difficult against St Lukes who had some very good players who were passing the ball well and made the most of their chances. Once into the second quarter and until the end of the match the Glasgow Gaelic Girls settled down and started playing well. Eilidh and Shannon switched positions with Eilidh playing C and Shannon WD. Eilidh had never played C before but she showed good promise at this position. Abigail and Caitlin scored an equal amount of points and got stronger as the game went on linking well together. St Lukes won the game by a few points but the Gaelic School Girls should be proud of how they played in only their second ever game. The girls were complimented by the St Lukes coach and she gave Eilidh McDougall girl of the game. Well done girls.
