Abbie MacNeil and Angus Jenkins have been selected by the Physical Education Department to be the school's Young Ambassadors. This programme engages young people aged between 14-19 as role models and leaders in sport. Angus and Abbie have been selected due to their impressive performances in sport both within and out with school hours and for their hard work in their classes last year. They will be motivating and inspiring other pupils to participate in sport throughout the year.
This programme is being run by sportscotland, Glasgow City Council organised a Young Ambassadors launch day at Tollcross where all selected pupils were brought together to listen to some motivating stories from previous young ambassadors as well as get some ideas on what they can do for the year.
