Robyn takes Top Honours at Scottish Championships...again

Robyn Paton S1 won the Scottish Open BMX Championships and Scottish Regional BMX Series for the second year in a row. Robyn also impressively finished 8th overall in the UK!!  Mia, Robyn's sister came 2nd in the Scottish Open and Scottish Regional Series.  The Scottish Open was a competition open to all riders from the UK some coming as far as Peckham with riders from the British Cycling Talent Team competing and Olympic squad too, it is the most prestigious BMX Racing event in Scotland which makes Robyn and Mia's success even more impressive.

In addition it is looking very likely that Robyn has qualified for next years UCI  World Championships in Holland, she will find out by the end of November. Fantastic performances from both Robyn and Mia! Keep up the good work girls!

The Idiot at the Wall - A play by Elspeth Turner

We are about to embark on a Highlands and Islands tour of 'The Idiot at the Wall'. This is a new play in English and Gaelic, and features a beautiful score of traditional Hebridean music and songs, performed by the wonderful Annie Grace and the cast. This show is suitable for all ages! We are opening in Greenock this coming Saturday, and I wondered if you might be interested in seeing the show, and also if you might possibly have time to forward our E-flyer, below, to others who may be interested in attending? There is a preview show (tickets 6 pounds) at 2.30 p.m. and we open with an evening show at 7.20 p.m. See below for more information on the play, production and tour.

Design by Jan Bee Brown
Music by Murdo Turner, Tim du Feu, Annie Grace & Aly Macrae
Featuring: Tim Barrow, Simon Eilbeck, Lucy Goldie, Kenny Linsay & Elspeth Turner
Music Performed by Annie Grace

September, 1918. A Hebridean island. This story of two sisters sees a traditional way of life struggle against the encroachment of the modern world and challenges us to consider the power of prophecy over reason. Gaelic songs and music of the period, performed live by the cast, enrich this production of a beautifully haunting tale.
