Spòrs Ghlaschu was set up last year by parents at the Glasgow Gaelic School to promote Sport through Gaelic and Gaelic through Sport in Glasgow
We have sponsored a range of sports-related coaching courses, TOPS, first aid, child protection, Early Touches (football), Bikeability (teaching off and on-road cycling skills) and a variety of shinty courses. Volunteer coaches from the club provide football training, Bikeability-based cycling tuition and shinty coaching is provided by the Glasgow Gaelic School
We plan to provide more sports coaching and training opportunities, especially to younger coaches in the coming year. Development of coaching skills in Gaelic is another priority.
None of this can happen without enthusiastic volunteer coaches and organizers. If you want to help please come along to this meeting.
