All the best to Daisy G S2 who has secured a final place for the 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke at the Glasgow Schools’ Swmming Finals. All the best Daisy!

S1s win their first competitive netball match

Well done to the S1s who won their first competitive netball match last week. The girls played well but had to work hard against a good team. Importantly all subs played and gained experience of the game on the grandest of stages - the Scottish Cup.

S2s through to the Glasgow District Final

A big congratulations to our S2 Netball Team who are through to the Glasgow District Finals. They progress after winning their group after 3 wins out of 3 which is a tremendous achievement considering they were not in the competition last year.. The team must now wait for the results of group 2 to see who they play in the District Final.

Toryglen Football

Toryglen 7s is back! Mr O’Hanlon has been pleased with the boys and girls teams performances so far. Toryglen is a great opportunity for our younger performers to get experience of the game on a regular basis in a fun and supportive environment. Mr O’Hanlon would know as it wasn’t too long ago he was representing the school at Toryglen. Jeep up the good work!

Glasgow Schools Multi Events

Another fantastic athletics display by the pupils at SGG. This years multi events took place st the High School in difficult conditions for all disciplines. As the name suggests the competitors had to do a variety of athletics events. This years stand out performers were Mark S1 who finished 2nd and Rhuna S4 who won the title of Glasgow Schools Senior Multi Events Champion! Finlay and Auran were ago isingly close to the medals too in 4th! Well done to everyone!
