Glasgow Schools’ Giant Heptathlon

It’s been a while since this has been on but the Glasgow Schools’ Giant Heptathlon Competition is back. Teams from each school are made up of 14 pupils - 7 boys and 7 girls. Each pupils score goes towards the teams total. After the 7 events are up there’s also a relay race which is always a highlight.  This year we have a young team taking part, your youngest ever but they are all very much looking forward to it. The Emirates is the venue for the competition which means our pupils will be getting to compete where all the pros race which is an exciting opportunity.

All pupils take part in all 7 events:
60m
600m
60m Hurdles
Shot Putt
Javelin
Long Jump
Standing Triple Jump

Good luck to the team
