Scottish Schools Champions

Finlay and Gabriel had their official last day at SGG on Friday 31st May and with it their last athletics competition together. They were joined by Daibhidh to make up a brilliant team for the Scottish Schools 3 x 800m Championships. The boys ran fantastically well to finish with team gold and were awarded by a brand new trophy straight out the box. What a last day for our two senior pupils! The boys finished in a time of 6 minutes and 32 seconds. Well done guys!

Sports Awards 2024

Well what a year we had and what a great way to celebrate all the successes big and small at the sports awards 2024. Thank you to Mrs Campbell Thow, team PE, parent(s), guardian(s) but most of all the pupils for making 2023-24 an unforgettable year! We love our jobs!

Glasgow City State Schools Track and Field Champioships

Well we didn’t get the summer weather at Huntershill but it was definitely raining medals for Sgoil Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu at the Glasgow City Council State Schools Track and Field Championships 2024. We had 24 pupils taking part and we came home with 37 medals in total. I can’t believe the number! That’s absolutely outstanding from the school - a new record and I believe that record of medals will not be broken by any school for a long time!
