SGG Road Relay 2022
What a great day we had for the SGG invitational Road Relay in Kelvingrove Park. This year we had 9 teams entered into the competition and had team entries from our friends at St Andrew’s, Hillhead and Notre Dame. Their were some fantastic performances from all the schools and everyone should be proud of their efforts and the way they supported each other on the day. Here’s to next year’s competition.
The top 5 teams were:
1. SGG Blue
2. SGG Red
3. Hillhead
4. SGG Green
5. SGG Black
Daibhidh also set a course record with a lightning quick 5.34 on a very tough course. Well done Daibhidh! Here are the individual times.
Scottish Cup Netball Success
We have 4 teams in this year’s Scottish Cup Netball Competition. Our S1s won all their group games and finished top of their group, winning the Glasgow League. They have qualified for the cup competition and now face St Columbas Junior School in the last 16 of the competition. The S2s also won all their games, finishing top of the Glasgow League 1 and now face the winners of Glasgow League 2 in the next round of the cup competition which will be played against Holyrood. The S3s finished 2nd in their group and now play in the plate competition and have a bye in round 2. The Seniors won all their group games and are through to the Cup Competition and now face Clydeview Academy in the next round. This is a remarkable achievement for the school having all four teams progress to the later stages of the competition! Well done to all the players involved! We wish all 4 teams all the best.
