Inter House Netball Tournament

On Monday 30th May we will be hosting an inter house netball tournament after school in the Talla Spors. He teams are detailed below. Good luck to all teams taking part:

Scottish Schools’ Pentathlon

For the first time ever we are entering pupils into the Scottish Schools Pentathlon. This is a multi events day where each pupil: runs, jumps and throws. Each measurement or time equates to points and every tries to do their best to try and finish as high up the finishers table as they can. Good luck to the team who take part at Grangemouth 4th June.

Scottish Schools’ Cross-Country Championships

What an absolutely amazing day we had at Hopetoun House estate in Edinburgh. This was the biggest number of pupils we have ever entered into the competition and it was by far the most successful too. There were absolutely amazing performances right across all the races from our pupils and history was made in this years event too! Our senior girls team in the A race won the schools first set of team medals. They came home with the bronze medals! It was an absolutely fantastic performance from the team! Our senior boys nearly repeated this only to narrowly come 4th which in itself equals our best performance from a male team, next year guys for the medals. I would like to thank all the pupils who not only performed exceptionally well but they also cheered each other on and there was a fantastic team spirit throughout the day. Well done to all the individuals and teams who took part! Here are the results:
