SGG Teams for Scottish Schools Cross-Country Championships

After this week’s success at the Glasgow Schools’ Cross Country Championships (more of that posted soon) the school now looks towards the Scottish School Cross Country Championships at South Queensferry. The event was due to take place on March 3rd but it has been postponed due to the snow. A future date will be set by Scottish Schools Athletics in a few days time. More details soon:

SGG Teams for Glasgow Schools Cross-Country Championships

Here’s our teams for the Glasgow Schools’ Cross-Country Championships. We have over 60 runners competing, an incredible number for SGG! The race takes place on Tuesday, we wish all the runners the best for their race. The Championships is one of the biggest sporting events of the year, looking forward to it already!

S2 Netball Team

Our S2 Netball Team have completes all their Netball Fixtures and are through to the playoff finals (unofficially). The girls won all but one of their games and have progressed really well throughout the year, they certainly have learnt a lot since being at the International festival in Paris. The girls will play 3 other teams in the playoff finals to decide who finishes 1st-4th in the City. Good luck to the team.   

S1 Netball Team

Here’s the S1 Netball Team for their final league fixture of the year. The team play Bannerman High School. It’s a home game so the game is being played at Kelvin Hall. Mr MacCorquodale unfortunately won’t make it as their’s a parents night on so Grant Allison, our active schools coordinator will take the team along with sports ambassador Margaret Driscoll who will coach and umpire:
